Two New Coronavirus Symptoms Runny Nose And Diarrhea Added To The Virus Official List.

The US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has added a runny nose or congestion, nausea, and diarrhoea to the growing list of Coronavirus symptoms.

The new symptoms are likely to appear between two to 14 days after exposure to the virus.

The CDC reports that anyone with the following symptoms may have COVID-19:

Fever or chills
A cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhoea

“This list does not include all possible symptoms. CDC will continue to update this list as we learn more about COVID-19,” the website states.

The US federal department also warned: “Older adults and people who have severe underlying medical conditions like heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness.”

This comes as almost 10million people have been infected by the disease worldwide with nearly 500,000 deaths.

Controversy Over Ajimobi’s Burial As OYO Government and the Family Disagree Over Burial Site.

The delay in the burial of the late former governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has been attributed to a clash between the late politician’s family and the state governor, Seyi Makinde.⁣⁣

Ajimobi’s death was announced on Thursday, June 25, 2020, and according to Islamic injunction, he was supposed to have been buried immediately or hours after his death.⁣⁣

According to ThePunch, the late former governor’s burial was delayed because his family and Oyo State government had not concluded on where to bury him.⁣⁣

A source, who spoke in strict confidence to the newspaper disclosed that the state government is not pleased with Ajimobi family’s burial plans.⁣⁣

The source said, “The family of the late Acting Chairman of the All Progressives Congress had made plans for the burial the following day after the death of their patriarch. They had got in touch with the state government for necessary burial approval; they were however rebuffed.⁣⁣

“The government official that the family got in touch with said they could not take action on the matter without approval from the governor, Seyi Makinde. The official also informed us that it has been difficult to pin down the governor for the approval.”⁣⁣

Ex-Oyo Governor, Ajimobi, Is Dead.

The 70-year-old, who had been on a life support machine since last Friday at First Cardiology Hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos, after slipping into a coma following Coronavirus complications, finally died on Thursday, On Monday, a reliable source close to the ex-governor had told SaharaReporters that Ajimobi had been on life support machine after he slipped into a deep coma and may not make any recovery going by the observations of medical experts around him.

Man defiles his 3-yr-old daughter while his wife was in the labor room. Blames an evil spirit.

A 43-year-old man, Ikechukwu Ekenta, has been arrested for allegedly raping his 3-year-old daughter, Kamsiyochukwu Ekenta, in Anambra State.

According to reports, the victim was defiled on the 28th of April 2020, the day her mother put to bed another child. .

Narrating her ordeal, Kamsimyochukwu said her daddy put his ‘komkom’ (Penis) inside her private part while she was asleep and she was woken by a sharp pain.

In an interview, the alleged rapist said that he was pushed by an evil spirit to rape his child. .

He said whenever the spirit came, he would start behaving abnormally and that very day, he used his finger to defile the girl as the urge came.

While explaining what she encountered on her return from hospital, the wife of the rapist, Mrs Ekenta, said she noticed sharp pain from her child while bathing her and on enquiry, discovered that her husband had defile her daughter.

The new mom added that she hurridly asked her husband what transpired and he admitted committing the crime and took the girl to hospital where it was noticed that he used his penis instead of his hands as he claimed.

She stated that she complained to the parents of her husband but they threatened to deal with her if she dares tell anyone, until a whistleblower came to her aid.
