The Chief Judge of Kogi State, Justice Nasiru Ajanah has died.

Justice Ajanah died in Abuja in the early hours of Sunday.

Ajanah who hails from Okehi local government area of Kogi State died after a brief illness at the age of 64 years.

His death comes few days after the Kogi State Government lost the President of the Customary Court of Appeal Justice Ibrahim Shaibu Atadoga after a brief illness also.

Reacting to Ajanah’s death, the State Government said the passing of the legal luminary is a massive blow to the government and people of Kogi State.

In a communique by Hon. Kingsley Fanwo – the Commissioner for Information and Communications, the government said the Chief Judge will be remembered for his brilliant justice administration throughout his career as a Judge and his tenure as the Chief Judge of Kogi State.

The statement further noted that the late Justice will be sorely missed for his tenacity of purpose and outstanding commitment to the sanctity of the temple of justice. “He was a colossus in the noble profession of law,” the statement partly read.

While assuring that it will work with the family of the late Chief Justice to give him a befitting burial, the state government said Ajanah’s shoes will be impossible to fill. 📹: @channelstelevision

I’m Happy About The Crisis Rocking APC – Governor Nyesom Wike

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state says he is happy about the crisis rocking the ruling APC and prays that the party continues to make mistakes and remain in crisis.

Wike, a chieftain of the PDP, said this in a recent interview with Arise TV.

“I am happy that APC is in crisis. It is not my business to help APC to be united. Remember that we also had our own crisis under Ali Modu Sheriff and APC jubilated about it then. It is my prayer that they should continue to be in crisis. We have taken another state. Unfortunately, APC isn’t really a political party. They came together just to take overpower.

I want my party to be in power and therefore, I cannot be praying for APC not to have crisis. I hope they continue to make mistakes everyday and my party will continue to grow” he said

APC Crisis: Oshiomhole bows out

The Immediate-past National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole said he has accepted the decision of the National Executive Committee NEC to dissolve the National Working Committee NWC which he chaired until Thursday. He said President Muhammadu Buhari had two years ago invited him to come and reposition the APC and that since the president in his wisdom has also agreed to the dissolution of the NWC, he is bound to obey him as the leader of the party.
