The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) website allows the public to check prisoner’s details and Nigerians have gone on the site to search out Hushpuppi’s details.
Recall that Hushpuppi, whose birth name is Ramon Olorunwa Abbas, was extradited to the US (read here) after he was arrested in Dubai for fraud.
His registration number in the US prison system was made public, allowing people search for him in the BOP’s website.
His details on the website shows his name, age, race and the location where he’s being held. As for his release, date, it states “Unknown”.
The Italian musician, who is credited for his work on more than 400 films and TV shows, died on Monday, July 6, at the Campus Bio-Medico in Rome, a week after suffering a fall in which he broke his femur.
His death was confirmed by his lawyer, Giorgio Assumma, who also disclosed that Morricone requested a private funeral.
Morricone began his career as a trumpet player before switching to film composition in 1961.
He created music for more than 70 award-winning movies, including “Once Upon a Time in the West ” and “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” which earned him a spot in the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2009. He also won an Academy Award for his soundtrack for Quentin Tarantino’s “The Hateful Eight” in 2016.
Mrs Roseline Nwokocha from Umuahia was arrested with her sister, Chioma, at Rumuokuta junction in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Chioma had accompanied her to Rivers State to see the baby, she said.
It isn’t her first time, she revealed. She said the last time she came to Port Harcourt to buy a baby, her sister Chioma accompanied her because she was sick.
The previous child she bought cost her N1.1 million, she revealed during interrogation. The child she was nabbed trying to buy was to be sold at N1 million and she said she planned to give the child to the buyers at N1.1 million Naira.
She was nabbed with the N1.1 million Naira in cash, and stated that it was the buyers who gave her the money as she left Umuahia for Port Harcourt.
When asked who she planned to pay the money to, she pointed at another woman in the group named Chi Chi. Chi Chi was asked who she planned to get the baby from and she pointed to another woman named Aunty Ify. She said Aunty Ify approached her that she had a baby for sale at 950,000 Naira so, she topped her gain of 50,000 Naira and sold to Mrs Nwokocha at 1 million Naira. She said once Mrs Nwokocha’s money is handed to her, she will hand Aunty Ify’s share to her and Ify will then bring the baby.
Aunty Ify was asked where she got the baby she wanted to sell from and she said she has no idea. She said someone called her that they had a baby to sell so she set the wheels in motion.
Mrs Roseline Nwokocha was asked what happened to the baby she bought two weeks ago and she said the baby is in Aba with a couple. She was asked for the couple’s name but she couldn’t provide an answer. She was also asked what she planned to do with the baby she came to buy before she was nabbed and she said a couple from Umuahia were to adopt the child. She also said she couldn’t remember the Umuahia couple’s name.
A 5th woman in the group was identified as the mother of the previous baby Mrs Nwokocha bought.
Operatives of the Aniti-Kidnapping Unit, in a Sting Operation yesterday 29/6/20202 at about 1330hrs, arrested a pastor who is also a notorious kidnapper and serial killer, Anthony Ndubuisi, from Ngo-Okpala in Imo State but resides at Umuebulu Etche LGA, Rivers State.
The suspect who was arrested through intelligence led policing, on interrogation confessed to have carried out several kidnappings and killings of his unsuspecting victims, including three Foreign Nationals and a Nigerian.
The recent, being the kidnapping and killing of one Ajumiene Offor, who was lured from Aba to his house, for a business transaction but kidnapped and killed on 9/6/2020.
According to reports, Tony – who is also into the sales of shoes and own a church – kills mostly his business associates after business deals, especially the ones he is owing. He kills them in one of his unoccupied houses.
In the course of investigation, the suspect led Operatives to his house at Umuebulu, where he pointed to a Septic Tank that contained the bodies of his victims.
On exhumation, the police recovered three human skulls and the decomposing body of his recent victim. They have been evacuated and taken to the mortuary for Autopsy.
